Kelly Courtney - Bio

Kelly Courtney is the Director of Youth Ministry at King of Glory Lutheran Church! She works primarily with the high school and junior high youth and occasionally with the elementary school kids.

Kelly Courtney grew up in Santa Barbara and graduated from Westmont College with a Bachelors Degree in music (vocal emphasis).

Kelly currently attends Azusa Pacific University's Orange County Campus where she is pursuing a Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy.

Kelly worked as the Director of Youth and Children's Ministries from fall of 2007- spring of 2010 at Christ Lutheran Church in Goleta, CA. Kelly also worked for Lutheran Retreats, Camps, and Conferences for the summers of 2006-2010. She was a counselor for two summers and was on leadership for three, which included being one of the staff in training program directors who trained high school students to become future counselors.

Kelly is passionate about working with youth and families, and teaching about God's love. She loves singing, swing dancing, writing music, faith stories, and spending time getting to know people.
