Carole Parmeter Dyer - Bio

Carole Parmeter Dyer grew up in Garden Grove and attended St. Olaf Lutheran Church where she learned her love of music and worship.

After graduating from California State University Long Beach with a B.A. in Women's Studies and History, she attended Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, graduating in 2000 with a Master of Divinity degree. Ten years later Carole is completing her studies with a two-year, half-time internship here at King of Glory!

Carole is looking forward to learning from and with the congregation and Pastor Tim Philips. When she is not at KOG, Carole is spending her time with her seven year old son, Aidan, their two dogs, and her husband Tom - not necessarily in that order! Carole and Tom also have a celtic/folk/jazz ensemble, Woven Image that gives concerts to raise money and awareness of social justice issues.
